A language of one is a language of none. If only one participant on a departure speaks the language you booked, it is not guaranteed. The listing says you are then offered an alternative or a full refund.
The weather clause treats the options differently. Vesuvius National Park closes in bad weather. Three options refund the €11 park entry. The audio-guide option instead takes you to the MAP virtual museum in Pompeii — the same closure, a different remedy, and the cheaper option gets the substitution rather than the money.
Not suitable for people with mobility impairments. The listing's own wording, with no partial version offered. The Vesuvius half ends in a walk up a gravel path to the crater rim, and Pompeii's streets are ancient basalt paving with high kerbs.

Is the cheapest option a guided tour?
No. At $129.08 you get a recorded audio guide in Pompeii, and the listing notes a valid ID is needed to collect the unit. The cheapest option with a live English guide is $144.06 — $14.98 more, and the only upgrade on the page that changes what the day is.
Why is the rating only 4.3 when the reviews read so well?
Because the average is doing a lot of work. The platform publishes three separate sub-scores underneath it: transport 4.5, guide 4.2 and value for money 4.0. The gap between the first and the last is the whole review — the logistics are the product, and the price is the complaint.
Are the park tickets really included?
Yes, for both sites, and the operator states their value itself: €20 for Pompeii and €11 for Vesuvius. At the rate we use across the site that is about $33.70, roughly a quarter of the cheapest option.
What happens if Vesuvius is closed?
The park closes in bad weather. On three of the four options the €11 park entry is refunded. On the audio-guide option you are instead taken to the MAP virtual museum in Pompeii.
Which pickup should I choose?
Hotel pickup at 10:00 is both the cheapest live-guide option and the only one that collects you where you are sleeping. Take Napoli Centrale at 10:20 or the cruise port at 9:45 only if you are not staying in the city — they cost $3.46 more for the same day.
Could I do this myself for less?
Partly. The two park tickets and a return Circumvesuviana to Pompei Scavi come to about €37.60, near $41. What that leaves unsolved is the mountain: the cheapest bus-plus-entry product in our catalogue lists at $45, and you would still be assembling the day, the timings and the lunch yourself.
Is it suitable for wheelchair users?
No. The listing states plainly that it is not suitable for people with mobility impairments, and it offers no reduced version. The crater-rim walk and Pompeii's basalt streets are the reasons.
